I recently updated IPB from 1.2 to 2.03 (my boards crashed so I decided to update ).
Now I've got an old backup (ibf_dbbackup.sql) and I can't seem to upload and use it, I keep getting error and messed up boards.
Is there any way for me to use my old backup?

I think there is a tool offered by Invision that will convert the database for you.

I couldn't find one .

When you backed up your boards did you also back up the PHP files?

& was the backed up version 1.2?

Try reinstalling IPB 1.2, initiating the backup. Then upgrading to 2.03
