For the last three weeks this has been under devlopment, and is now ready for your enjoyment. Thanks to those of you who provided feedback, it was greatly appreciated.

The skin itself has gone through some major visual modifications in the last 24 hours. As you can see, it has come a long way since its beginning.

I do not have an installer just yet, so I posted the actual file for now.
Here is what you want to do (taken from download page)

1.) download the file http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/18073271/

2.) extract /unzip the file

3.) copy it into your C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger directory. And yes, you want to replace the file that is there. (you may want to back it up first)

thats it, you should now have iPod messenger installed on your computer.

Naaaaaah not my style, good work anyway.

I was unable to remove those corners. Trust me, I tried!
For those of you with dark backgrounds I have made a version with dark colored corners... thats the best I can do
