I've only had my iPod phto for about 6 month and I just turned it on this morning and my menu button refuses to work. I have never dropped or abused the iPod in any way and I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there is a way to fix it.

I HAD THAT SAME PROBLEM.
And I hate to say it, but you can't do anything, mine just happened out of the blue too, I suggest calling Apple, I returned mine through Best Buy, good luck - but I'm pretty sure that there isn't anything YOU can do about it, sorry man.

I would strongly not recommend you attempting to open the iPod yourself. You will more then likely irreversably damage it (and you'll void your waranty). Send it back, if it's only six months old.

Well this sux, *wonders if I can still return it and get support for the product.*

ipod has a 1 year hardware warranty, get it replaced.

smile.gif I plugged my iPod into my computer and let it update, and now the button works again!
