How do you open ports on Windows2003 Server Standered Edition?
What are you trying to achieve by opening ports? Need more information, what you're asking doesn't make much sense because the firewall is not turned on by default.
All ports are "open" by default. However, for packets to do anything, there has to be a service listening on one of those ports...
Install SP1 and add the Security Configuration Wizard windows component.
