For soem reason, if I listen to my windows media server stream for too long, the sound starts to warp. In some cases, it will get deeper or speed up. The file being streamed is an mp3 with a constant bitrate.

I know its not a problem with the format because on my windows media server, I have a WMV and 3 mp3s as one stream and if i play enough mp3s and then the WMV messes up, with sound. I never bothered to chekc hte video if it was fine.

Anybody know why?

P.S. I've noticed a relationship between the size of what is being streamed and how soon it gets messed up. I think the limit is like 3 mb before it starts messing up. However, if im playing a large file thats more than 3 mb, it will play the file fine until the file ends upon which the subsequent files will warp.

Thanks
Sierra
You need some sort of mp3-cache
