In 7.12 whenever you clicked a URL that didn't work it would keep the address in the address bar. Since I updated it doesn't do this anymore, it just displays a popup error and the address bar says," go to a web address here". I want it to hold the address that I tried going to. It's kind of annoying having to hunt down which URL didn't work if I open 10 tabs.

for an example try this:

http://www.wrong_address.com/,

go there and it won't stay in the address bar

I heavily recommend that you update to Opera version 8.

If you are a registered user of Opera, your Opera 7 key will work fine in Opera 8.

not if i used that free offer they used to get this version.......

Then I would track down Opera 7.6 Preview 4, not quite version 8 but enough for you to use that key.
