Hello everyone,

I have a mac mini, and i want to hook up my friend's keyboard to it so I can record in GarageBand from the keyboard (all software - so notes are displayed, etc.) Does anyone know if there is a piece of hardware out there that would let me do this - hook up via MIDI?

Thanks,

Most midi devices that I know of work on PC and Mac..what kind of midi interface is your friend using?

If you can't borrow it, something like this should suit your needs.

That's exactly what I'm looking for, now I just need to find somewhere in Australia that will carry it, or a store that will ship to australia.

Thanks,

Well, here's a list for distributors of M-Audio equipment, according to M-Audio of course.

M-Audio are an excellent brand too. Even their cheap stuff is rather well put together.
