Full Version: Tiger Hardware Incompatibilities... (Graphire 2)

Ok, so I installed my Graphire2 drivers once more, and have been using it fine in Tiger. I decided to logout, then back in later that date. I had a security notice, announcing security problems with the Wacom driver. I chose 'Fix', but it appeared that the Tablet driver was no longer working. It seems when you first install it, it works, but it's not working correctly on login. Does anyone know a valid fix for this? - Or is this something i'll have to wait for Wacom to fix. I rarely restart or even logout, but it's a quirk that i'd like to amend!

Furthermore, whilst "Googl'ing" I stumbled upon this, might be handy to some of you:-

I did an upgrade of Tiger over Panther with Wacom Graphire 2 drivers installed, and I had the same problems you described. I think I reinstalled the drivers, logged out, and then back in to get it working again.

If it doesn't work for you, I guess you could trash the “/Library/Tablet/" folder, restart, reinstall, and restart again to get the driver working properly.

Cheers. Like i said, between my PowerBook and PowerMac, i don't really logout very often to be honest - let alone restart, I can live with the driver dying on logout, until Wacom update the drivers.
