Just curious what everyone likes here. Seem to be a lot of people into Moto here, which surprises me because they tend to have a lot of problems. I have a friend that works for tech support at AT&T wireless and he says almost all his calls are about Moto. My vote goes for Nokia. They've never let me down.

Nokia.
From the simple, easy 3510i to the keyboard of the 6820/6822 to the supersmartphone 6680. Nokia Rocks all the way home.
Motorola can just flip on that one.
nokia for their ease of use for me. but i gota admit other manufacturers have got phones which eclipses anything from nokia

2 years ago, I would have said Nokia all the way. But since then I ended up with a string of Sony Ericssons...
What I found (while stil comparing Nokias - my mates have em): Nokia seem to have gone down the image route, whereas SE seem to have concentrated on good, usable phones.

Nokia. A lot of phones nowadays are bloated with useless features and Nokia phones are the most functional ones.
Nokia forever, easy menu system and by far the most reliable

Motorola for me. I've had too many problems in the past with Nokia phones, plus Motorola phones are really cool.
i like the motorolas! They look very cool, and I just prefer them more. I have a v300 and a SE t610, I would use the v300 if it had bluetooth, but it doesnt

. The build quality i just soo much better too

its really a tie. i owed nokia, se and moto. and even though my current phone is a moto and i like it a lot,
i would still say ericssons are the best. or is it nokia... not sure. menus are the best on nokia. se phonebook is not the greatest, though better then motorolas.
nokia phones are simple are intuitive. if they did not make so many misses and useless phones and only make the best selling models and top of the line stuff, they would win.
ericsson are great for compatibility, the charger and cables from my old model worked with all the new once. nokia likes to change connectivity options from phone to phone
Title edited for spelling and spelling fixed in poll

I voted Motorola just because, overall, they've been pretty good. I've owned four cell phones in my life:
NTT DoCoMo phone (8/01 - 7/02) - LOVED this phone. I forget what model number it was, but it was great. Had all these things that, at the time, were so far ahead of American phones that it was amazing. i-Mode web browsing, polyphonic ring tones, colors, wallpapers; hell, the phone came pre-loaded with DDR!
Motorola 120t (8/02 - 8/03) - This phone was a huge step down from my Japanese cell phone, but since my DoCoMo phone was tied to Japanese networks, I couldn't use it here in the States. So, I had this one for a year. Pretty basic phone, one of the last ones to come out on Cingular's TDMA networks. Text messaging was nice, and it was stable as all hell, so overall, it was good.
Motorola T720 (8/03 - 1/04, 1/04 - 5/04, 5/04 - 5/05) - Biggest piece of s*** I've ever used. Started crashing in January 2004, so I went in and got it replaced. Then the replacement started crashing, so I got that one replaced in May 2004. Then that one started crashing around September 2004, but when I went to get that one replaced, they said that since it'd already been a year since I bought it that they couldn't replace it anymore. After using this phone, I vowed to never use a Motorola phone again, until...
Motorola V635 (5/05 - current) - AMAZING. I was worried since it was, in fact, a Motorola phone, but I'd heard so many good things about it that I decided to give it a shot, and I have not been disappointed. This is the single greatest phone I've ever used in my life. It has everything I could want in a phone, and despite me putting it through its paces, it's remained solid throughout it all. I'll be using this phone for a while.

I've had various Nokia's - 3210, 3310, 3510i, 8310. I've had a Sony Ericsson P800. But my fav phone so far is this: HTC Typhoon/Audiovox SMT5600 or if you're in the UK it's an Orange SPV C500.
http://www.audiovox.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...13758&langId=-1http://shop.orange.co.uk/shop/show/handset...spv_c500/detailI probably like it for the sole reason that it has Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition for Smartphone on it. It's great, better than any Nokia and perfect integration with Microsoft Outlook.
Sony Ericsson!
i have the T630 (white).
i like the interface a lot. definately a big thing for me. I like the fact that the menu area is spread out like icons on a desktop.
it's just a nice phone to use..although i'd like to have a better model

Nokia. That's only because it's more stable and I don't care much about the appearance. Different manufacturer cater to different customers. I think Nokia is more masculine.

Samsung. I still have my SCH-N150 from like 4 years ago, it's been left out in the snow for a night, been dropped in a lake (shallow part, but fully sumberged), dropped in a puddle, smashed against a steel table at work so hard the screen cracked, dropped on the concrete a few times, run over by a car once...and it still works perfectly (still have the crack in the screen, but it doesn't affect the screen itself).
Motorola's gone to crap, they used to be my favorite. LG's pretty good, but they always have some weird issues. Nokia I've had 4 of them and they've all exploded into a billion pieces from the tiniest fall or just picking it up. Audiovox just sucks and gets crappy reception. I haven't used sony ericsson yet though. My next phone MIGHT be a sony, but I really want a nice samsung with a pull-out keyboard that isn't too costly.

Nokia at all
Its a difficult choice. My favorite phone manufacturer is Vertu ( I'll get one some day...

) , which is a division of Nokia. I hate Nokia's mainstream phones though, so I guess my favorite mainstream phone manufacturer is Motorola.

i get bored of my phones quickly so like to buy a new phone so far ive had 3 different nokia phones, a sony ericcson and a panasonic.
my sony ericsson phone kept crashing and i had a lot of problems with it, and my panasonic phones battery lasted about a day then ran out, yet i have never had any problems with nokia phones.
so nokia gets my vote

all Nokia phones (upper & med range) I've seen in past 2 years have radios. Although some (including my 6610) need their headsets to use it. I love nokia for its simplicity and logical menu layout. using 6610 since last 2 years and don't feel like changing since right now its so fits my needs.
Although 6230 looks amazing
