My iPhoto collection is gettin huge and im starting to want to print alot of my photos out.

also, what programs do u print from? would u recommend simply printing from iPhoto?

Canon or Epson is the printer brand I would go for and you have a Canon selected so good choice.

I generally print (I have an Epson R300) from either Photoshop Elements or iPhoto. It really doesn't matter as the printing dialog is the same in both programs.

Remember when buying a printer to also research the price of ink for that model and how fast it uses it. It may be worth it to get a slightly more expensive printer if it'll save you ink money in the long run. That is a very nice printer and I know that Canon printers have good ink consumption rates and ink prices.
