Has anyone recently done or is planning to do 70-290 exam for windows. If you have, could you tell me if the questions on the exam are mainly multiple choices like their previous exams or have they switched to the new interactive exams.

I am planning to do this exam shortly and any help regarding this exam will be appreciated

I took he 70-290 late last year, most all of the questions where multiple choice. There was only a couple questions that where not.

It was freaking hard though, i swear the first 5 questions where those fake ones they mix in to throw you off.

I had lots of questions on Incrmental/differantial/full backups, couple questions about the command line active directory tools. File security (share/ntfs) where a good portion of the test as well.

I wanted to know the propotion of multiple choices and interactive questions. Have you recently done this exam? How did you fair? How hard is it from a scale of 1 to 10?

Not more difficult but a little closer to 'reality' and the exam won't take much longer than before ... 4 or 5 questions are simulations or maybe less or more but most of it is multiple choice. Haven't done 2003 yet but will very soon .. It's hard to say how hard it is. Depends on how much you know and how tricky the questions are... You can get stupid questions and mess it up completely...
