Hiya,

First off, Great theme Binary it's the only theme I've ever stuck with for longer then 35minutes.

But I have a qualm with v4 as opposed to v3.1, It's nothing big but it kind of annoys me. See Screenshot below:

in 3.1 I had all of the info in my systray(Date, Time, Day)

and now in 4 I cannot find what setting or whatever it is to change it.



Could someome please direct me as to where I can fix this?

hmmmm thats odd because I didnt change those values at all ... What colours does this happen in? And are you running SP 1 or anything that might change the way a theme acts? And are you sure you didnt have it at 3 bar heights? as opposed to 2? wierd cause I dont remember changing any of the taskbar values.

ahh your right, I remember now I changed the sizing margins because of the bug where the icons would overlap the systray frame, sorry but thats the way it goes now I'd rather not have icons overlap, I'll play with the margins and tell you how to change them if I can find a way to fix the bug and add the date too.

ok here's the fix (if you want date time and day within a 2 bar height taskbar)



find the value TaskbarTray.bmp and set it's content margins to:



8,4,3,5



I may update this in v4 but I'll just up it to themexp without any info, well maybe I'll add it in the comments, but for such a slight change I'm not adding another revision number I'll also try to fix the shellplayer "bug", but no promises

Hmm, It appears my Stylebuilder has expired and I cannot run it now. If someone could please fix what I posted about before(using Binarys values and permission) and send me the msstyles I would be much appreciative.

is there a way i can extract the bmp files from a winamp2 skin?



i want to make it winamp3 compatible since noone here seems to make winamp3 skins...

well since they change how their skinning engine works with every release, i think it's best to hold off on wa3 skins, but that's just me.

A wmz file is a zip file renamed. Just change the extension to .zip and open in winzip or whatever.

Binary rules makes people do their own work to get what they want lol!

I just dont see the sense in people complaining about a bug they can fix themselves in a couple seconds, instead of *****ing cause I have a life and dont update the theme quick enough for them , noone has done this with V4, but it has happened before, got some nasty emails in the past too, it's like some people think I'm making this theme specifically for them on a paid by the hr basis lol



But thanks to all of the people that report bugs, you guys are the ones that made this such a great theme!

right on. people forget that you could have just made this theme for yourself and never have distributed it. stick to your guns man.

thanks binary for your hard work, i just think is microsoft had spend so many time testing and correcting the Luna msstyle maybe it could came out something better.

All i can say is DAMN this theme rules. I remember in the very beginning when Binary first announced he was doing this and i was so excited i got impatient. But the time you took really shows Binary! Great work! :D

It looks perfect to me, but the start button is not the right one. I think I will go take it out of a old screenshot and fix it!

sailgreg the button is the same as the one from build 2419, but the start flag is different only because this is XP not win2k- so I wanted it to use the new flag which explorer blits on there anyways, (hint: just hack explorer.exe if all you want to change is the flag, it's located in there)

Is there a bug with this visual style, or is it just me? The sidebar in any folder such as "My Music" has no matching scheme. Just a plain white background. Is this correct?

there is no bug, thats the shellstyle that I included with it, matches the ones from whistler build 2419. I am working on new ones and I will update the theme when I have time, so if you dont like the current ones, just drop the luna shellstyles from their folders to the matching watercolor ones. Luna has green grey and blue, so they do go with the colours of watercolor, they just dont match perfectly. But like I said, I will be updating the theme with new ones so just keep checking themexp.org



p.s. If that was a bug, don't you think I would have noticed it by now? this is v4 afterall

Binary, I'm sorry to ask again but did ya ever do that thing for me(fix the systray to be 3 rows) and upload it to themexp? I've noticed some other people complaining about it. I'd do it myself like you said, but my StyleBuilder wont open, and when i finally did open it(thanks to a workaround someone told me about) it wont let me click import so I can't import the msstyles..



If someone could please make the systray 3 rows for me I would love them long time ;P

I one problem with this theme, look at the img there is a little black line near the close button, it shows up sometimes and it only there with this theme Anyone else have this ore know how to fix it?

I have never seen that bug ever sailgreg, it must just be your computer. Toxikk Noone knows yet, they just postponed the 2 Canadian tour dates, seems very fishy to me... I am very ****ed off, the site says personal issues, but someone close to the band said thats BS and there were no issues, but wouldnt elaborate Oh well I guess I'll see them in 4-5 months.

as u can see, every single detail is copied to this watercolor theme bit by bit.

i have to congratulate Binary on an excellent port and one of the best themes i have seen for windows XP yet



the thing i wonder is, who in their right mind would choose Luna

over Watercolor :cheeky:
