I "may" have fixed your menu arrow bug animaniac.
And I can make the items closer, but I just dont think it looks right, because the highlight will just miss the top and bottom of full 16 pixel icons.

Ohhh, that's much better. But you're right, it's cutting it close, is there any middle ground?
Edit: I'm running on 1400x1050, maybe that is the cause?

Does 4.3 fix the other "issue" (it's not really a bug...) of too much spacing in the taskbar? See attachment.

I'll fix that for next build I guess, though mine doesnt cut off that much text

Maybe it is your wierd res causing the problems, I run it at 1024x768, and I also checked 800x600, which also seems to be fine. At higher res' everything gets squished looking, but thats prolly cause my 17" monitor isnt meant to use that res

So did it fix the arrow bug?

The shellstyle of 2419 was the same as included, I was going to just go with that, but I will change them if I get some ideas as to how they should look. I have an idea, I might include it in another build.

I've having problems... when I select the Watercolor themes from the Display Properties, I get no window preview, nor does the style change when I apply. A blank selection is observed in the Appearance tab, under 'Windows and buttons:"

I'm guessing because I don't have a patched .dll that allows me to load unsigned visual styles?

billo3121 your skin doesn't show up on trillian's site, have you uploaded it yet? And any chance you'll link to it once its done? I've been waiting for one of these for a verrrry long time

I tried editing the bitmaps myself but apparently I'm completely inept.
Also I've tried searching and have only found a matching winamp 3 skin (for ergonomic) but only have found winamp 2 skins for the other colors, does anyone know of/have a winamp 2 ergonomic skin?

I had to submit it 2x to cerulean, because in one zip, i forgot to take out the psd's, making a large zip. So... temporary hosting:
http://webpages.charter.net/billo3121/temp...Ergonomic_1.zipdon't rape it now.
is there an 'official' wa2 skin for this theme?

Much thanks! All things watercolor (ergonomic

) are very much appreciated. d
As for the winamp2, I don't know if its official but there is a pack of blue/green/silver out there that is at least a good representation of watercolor. But why no ergonomic??? :\

Wheres the Windows Media Player 8-9 Skin?

only thing i could possibly want would be an ergonomic skin for winamp2, ergonomic is just so pleasing to my eyes...

and the wmp9 skin....... then i would be watercolored completely
Did I read somewhere that you have a modded version without the bright white in the program backgrounds? That would it perfect for me. Crappy lighting in my house, darker makes my eyes stay in my head longer.
I searched all over and couldn't find one, but i swear i heard it mentioned.

I'm sorry, but I cant seem to fix your issue with the arrow. It's wierd that your having the problem, and others arnt :\ If I keep going into the -'s then the menu starts acting wierd so theres really nothing I can do to remedy your situation

I will add more text room to the taskbar though, and MAYBE less room between menu items.

Yeah, the arrow thins isn't really a problem, but the lack of text space in the task bar can be bothersome. Thanks for the update.
i propse that someone start a site... a watercolor site. a place that we can store all the watercolor related stuff as a central location to go and download.
who knows. i may just do it. would you be cool with that binary?

I might do it ToxiKK...or a few of us could...I'm busy with lots of things lately. I'll make a crap preview though...just to see what we can all come up with.
me too. i may be able to put a mirror on my webspace. i too will design a quick html page and see what ideas we can come up with. i think it would be cool since this IS one of the better themes for xp.

Update:
I just moved the tile squares in the title bar more to the right, so it more resembles the title bar from the theme.
I suppose I'm a lot farther than ToxiKK already. I'd like to see what he comes up with.
i havent time to come up with anything yet... no need to now. that poop looks phat!!!! i can make different css for it and make is so that you can use the feature in gecko to where you can load up different stylesheets and it keeps it in memory so if a user likes the silver theme it will stay that way. make sure you make different versions of it.
are you building the html or is that just the template?
if it is, mail me the psd file for that and i will code html and see what i can come up with that.

binary, will we be seeing a thin taskbar watercolor anytime soon?
I had the option of having a site all along thru various means and I never really wanted to start one. But if you guys feel I should have one, then I guess I could start one. It would make sense for the author to have a site for it

So I can do one, and if people want to help with graphics and layout then I'll take any advise etc.

I guess then people could email me with/about app skins, and they could be in a central place.
kainashi I dont see any sense in a smaller taskbar, but if people want a version with a small taskbar I could try it.
Also I still need people to help me make shellstyles, if anyones up for the job email me or post here. I have a mockup but I've just been so busy this week (I am back to a fulltime job) I havent got around to updating anything.
Chris
hmmmm I just had an idea. How farout there would it be to make a section of the site where people can upload their own things to the site with preview, like themexp? Then people wouldnt even have to wait, or a small forum might work aswell.
it's up to you guys really

Chris
i'd be willing to help out with the shellstyle. Just let me know

The image is just a .psd file I made up Toxikk.
The file upload thing Binary could be done in a forum too. That way, you can post new stuff and discuss the theme, etc etc. If Toxikk wants to, he can code the site and CSS. I'm a CSS n00b

.
thats ok, I dont even know much html

I use coolpage mainly, cause it's so damn easy compared to writing it yourself

a thin taskbar watercolor would be quite nice.
I've been reading what you all have been saying about a "thin taskbar watercolor" and I'm wondering if when you all say that do you mean editing the taskbar to look like the watercolor theme? If so that would be tite, I would love to see an edited taskbar to go along with the theme, a matter of fact that is the one major reason why I get sick of the current watercolor theme, the taskbar is too bland for me.
That would be an awesome idea Binary, get to work!

Am I correct that this style does not need StyleXP to work? Or am I mistaken?
