Update: I fixed the black text in the detail box in the shellstyle. It's now white, as it should be.

I like it - simple and a good shade of gray that can go w/ lots of stuff.

I can give you a hand in the shellstyle I'll take a look after work for you, if it's not in the uifile as 0,0,0 then it'll be in as "black".

Nice! I've never used any "dark" styles before, but I like this one. Very simple and pleasant looking. I switch between styles every now-and-then but I always default back to Watercolor. I'll be keeping this one for a while though Great work!

Those caption buttons are great. Too bad it's dark or I might have used it. Only other thing that's not that great is the start button IMHO. Maybe I'll try doing a personal mod in the future. Great job!

very nice, but why are there two "shellstyle.dll" files in the zip?

It's the only way I could get the shellstyle to show up in the compact version as well. If I learn of another way to link 2 styles to the same shellstyle file, I'll do that.

Eh, it was looking good until I saw the start menu and close/minimize buttons. Too colorful. Doesn't match the theme at all. Otherwise looks great.

IMHO it'd be even better if the start menu logo was always blue/grey like it is when you select it, and if the -+x icons could be the blue/grey shades as well.

You forgot to colour parts of it. Look in the attachment. The compact start menu version has those coloured.[attachmentid=127153]

Try switching the color scheme to 'Compact', maybe?
