when ever i open up IE..and go to Neowin..explorer.exe seems to just crash



im confused..maybe some1 can help..running XP. IE6.. P3 1Ghz

Are you using the IE6 SP1 beta? If so then repair your IE install... if not then either repair Windows or apply the SP1 beta if you prefer.



If you are using the XP SP1 beta then try reinstalling.



If you aren't using either, then try popping in your Windows CD and running sfc /purgecache in the run dialog.



WARNING: Using sfc /purgecache causes Windows to check for hacked or altered system files... which means many customizations to Windows by 3rd parties may be lost.

also scan your puter w/ adaware.

some spyware cuase stability prblms..



or use mozilla

Use the repair thing in add/remove program for IE, it fixes 99% of problem, or go with Mozilla.

Crashes without an error message or log of any kind? That info might help. I don't even know if Neowin runs any pop-up ads (I use Mozilla), but if so, and you've got a pop-up killer installed, that might be your problem. Otherwise, it's totally shooting in the dark without an error message.

My advice: Run AdAware!

i suggest you never come back to neowin.net again.
