Looks ok, but the overall opinion on civics is that they are the Corsa/Nova/Saxo/Fiesta of the US - cheap and tacky and then driven like F1 cars by the less fortunate among the population.

Will it have SH-AWD though? I hear the S2000 and new Legend will feature it, making them formidable AWD cars.
looks like a Peugeot 307 cab, but more agressive.. or am I mistaken?

I resent that statement. I own a 1970 Chevy Nova and when its completed, I can personally gurantee that you will change that statement. Even the SS models packed a decent punchwith a 396. two door family car was the insurance specs you would have received with a 396? Please...

Honda makes cars for the unfortunate population? The unfortunate population drives early 80s Civics if they're lucky. The rest drive beat Ford pickups and vans.
I don't get the big deal of people not liking 'rice.' Its a car with a smaller engine that is a rocket if built right. You may not like them, but you should respect them when they fly by you with ease.

i saw it in real in the occasion of the F1 Grand Prix in Montreal this weekend and Honda is one of the partnership..
It's pretty nice indeed, but i wouldn't buy it.
I currently have a 2003 Honda Civic Type R but the 2007 Type R model version of the new Civic could well be my next car either that or an Integra Type R.

i'll probably end up seeing it tonight at the Formula 1 GP street event, but i think the design is horrible, though i would like to see it without the black hood or the tinted lights in the front. I guess it has some potential. Also looks like a squished accord from the side. Though i do like the mags

Way to curvy, smooth, and streamlined. Not defined enough. Like a smooth lump of clay before the potter makes it into something. Also, too Z350-ish.

umm yes they do, they just released the 2005 Integra in Japan and it can be imported to the UK

What is an RSX ?
one new spec Integra Type R ->
http://www.bajaria.com/chirag/integra/
The Integra is to the RSX as the Prelude is to the S2000. They phased out both production lines to move on.

That new makeover for the Integra a few years back was renamed to the RSX in North America. I dont see how the S2000 is the sucessor to the Prelude

its probably gonna have tiny ass rotors, a weaker motor, different lighting, and more subtle body design.
too bad they dont have any hatchback model

i was looking at changing my 93 Civic Hatchback but the dealer said they didnt make them anymore

Actually, it looks like they combined parts of a Focus, early Toyota Echo, A4, with 2001-2 Mustang headlights with tint.

A RSX is an Integra, just renamed. Over in Japan an Integra as a Honda still has the Integra badge.
Also the Prelude was replaced by the Element not the s2000.
Wrong price range.
Honda sells cars in particular price ranges for a certain group of people that would purchase a car.

the DC5 IT-R VS DC5 RSX-S is not the same. The engine is different already. Not to mention the suspension and etc. It may look the same, but you gotta look at the little details.

Yes there are different engines and upgraded suspension but still the same structure of a car.
We call Civics the same here in the US as the counterparts in Japan, but have the same differences as the RSX and Integra as who gets what engine and what upgrades.
It’s still the same car structurally for the most part.

For one, it's a concept so you'll never see it like that, ever! Two, everyone and their brother will own one so count me out on owning one. I prefer my cars semi-rare and much more expensive.
