I saw this a long time ago and I think it looks a lot better. If it is the sports edition of the car, it should at least look sporty.

looks too much like the hybrid to me...it's clean looking, I give it that, but it just looks laughable to me. I can see people putting spoilers on this and making it look even worse. Stock, I just don't liek the looks of it though.

I just saw this yesterday, and I love it. I wish Honda has this design couple of years ago.

I think this whole Sports Edition thing has gotten out of controle.
What happend to the after marked, it got replaced by ****ty factory made parts!
I remember i took a look under the hood of a 2003 Civic with this special Si Kit that was supozed to change the performance, and guess what i see, NOTHINGS CHANGED!
it didnt even have cold air induction, just the regular air filter with 3 90* bends!
If you want a sports car, get a 93 Civic, its the last year they made the unresticted engine, and you can get after market parts for it dirt cheap and make it look ****ing amazing! not to mention it will blow the socks off the new Civic Si
Pretty, looks like a Focus.
No need for ricers to soop up their Civics anymore. That thing looks AMAZING. If I could drive and had cash, that'd be my purchase.

I still think there's too much of a hump in the ass part. Besides that, lower it and it looks good.

If everyone had the money to buy a BMW or any brand in that range, then you wouldnt see "rice" drive down the street as often.

Nah, in all honesty, I like the car, it does look good.

I wouldn't mind it so much if they weren't turned into rice left and right. Look at the Civic's of today. They look like nice cars that a family would be found in. This screams rice. Add a giant spoiler/wing and a loud exhaust system and the transition is complete.

Looks to Americanized.
Poor Civics
The Aftermarket scence for imports has killed Hondas.

Or you dont build a civic engine because they're just too small. Any fast civic you'll see on the road has a H22A or B18A (GSR, I forget the exact numbers) swap. Civic engines aren't made to build, they're made to last. Not to mention the stock transmission wouldn't handle any real horsepower/torque.

I believe the fastest front wheel drive unibody car has or had a built D series engine not B or H.
So that argument isn't very valid
Don't forget that the B series was stock in most 90s Civics in Japan as well.

I don't htink we have magazine stands in WV, lol!

Its
easiest to build those engines. Also, after looking, most of the D series engines were in the CX models which are the lightest versions of the Civic as far as I know. They don't run over 137 HP either, so its still not logical to build a small engine like that. It would cost a lot [but I guess considering the swap..].

this is honestly the first civic i like. looks pretty cool. accord like in front and classy taillights.
no really as much as i have civics i give this one 2 thumbs up1
edit: no real pictures yet? this concept being around for a while. surely there must be real pictuers of some sort out now.
I like Hondas again.

How much would that retail for?

The B series are only .1 and .3 liters bigger then their D series counterparts.
So both B and D series engines are small.

Yeah, but you're looking at a much more built engine in comparison. 70HP range difference is quite noticable in little cars like these.

96-00 was the best Civic generation over all.
I enjoy my stock 92 4dr with 233,000 miles.

um no..
In 2001 they introduced the current civic then in 2003 they changed the bumper and fender, made small adjustments to the front and changed the interior gauges to purple from orange. There's been 1 major change since 2001.
I own a 2001 Civic EX.
i think it looks pretty sweet..much better design IMO than previous civics

I must say I like it, except for the back of the car. That's just not fitting in to that design. But wouldn't buy it anyway. Need a bigger car than that one.
It looks a lot nicer than older Civics...

I don't like it. I don't really care for that design, it isn't my style. I like elegant looking cars, like the Chrysler 300
this car is coming same time in india too... with super higways... look cool cat to have.
Ahh its crazy! Its like looking at an odyssey, then you move back and its a little civicy, except with more modern lines.
And the back looks very crossfire *yuk*
As a whole though, I dont mind it, its proportions just seem a little strange
