I have made the following: Modern Industria. It's still very much a work in progress. I need a todo list, message baloon, eventlist, and i am still not satisfied with the bg for the days, but it's comming along.

I like the look of it and will definately use it when you have it completed.

another small update. Made 2 versions of todo and event list. todo.png, todolined.png, eventlist.png evenlistlined.png.

I'll make more .ini's later. For the time being you can change it yourself to change them.

no icons. 8 different "styles" (just combinations or backgrounds and todo lists)

todo:
add icons.
make dark version (for light bg's)
work on tooltips colour (just noticed that )


oh, and as always with my work, if anyone wants a PSD to make a colour mod or whatever, feel free to PM me and i'll send it along. I dont care if people mod my work (esp this since i stole the idea from a screenshot) just try to give me credit somewhere.


if you send me a link to that version, I can use those icons and have the version done in a few minutes

This may be the slickest version of this skin yet. Just one request - could the ToDo and Events lists be made the same width as the calendar itself? They look a little wider at the moment. I tried just changing the width in the Edit Skin window but it didn't seem to work. Thanks in advance.

actually, they are 1 pixel skinnier than the calendars, but I know what you mean. I forgot to take into account the empty space in the BG (so the months don't overlap) when I made them, but I wanted to start the "dark" version today so I could get the colours down and such. Expect a fix by the end of the week.

Is there any way you could add the selectable buttons for the ToDo and Event windows. I really enjoy this feature on the updated skins. It beats right clicking all the time.

Looks good, I like the dark theme in particular, although I'll have to edit the .ini files to remove those icons, good skin though.

I found one in sustance. I tried to add buttons, but i didn't make anything that looked decent yet, so right now they aer invisible over the month name and year. I'm still thinking of possible ideas though.

added icon only events (right below) and no icon event settings (left in below)

The dark spots in each day box doesn't look too good on a light background...

ack! I just checked that out and yea...noted. That'll be fixed in the "dark" version. yuck!

Ah, should have expected from the 'Dark', didn't go well with my dark wall.

Keeping it till i'm tired of my current setup.

The dark is supposed to be on a light desktop and the light on a dark desktop

Great work and great effort

July 4th weekend, so I'm a bit busy (I'm from the US). In a week I also start up a full time job, so progress will be a bit slow for a while, which is why I pumped out the first versions quickly.

I don't really know what else to add. I think I may make a dark50% version because I think the black blurs on the lines of the dark version look somewhat dirty on very light bg's. That's really my only plan unless people have other ideas.

I've also got to make a readme for this so that I can declare that the idea is not mine, nor are icons. The icons are straight rips without permissin, and the idea is whoever made the ones in teh screen shot.

Furthermore, if anyone wants to make any mods, feel free to. I only ask for a mention in the relase, nothing more. Speaking of mods, if anyone needs a PSD so they can customize the blur or the lines or whatever, feel free to ask.

"Fifty Fifty"

I thought the dark was a bit too dark for some wallpapers, so I lightened things up a bit. Not done, but I thought I'd put it out while I had the time

actually it's good, it could just have a more glassy look i guess

Excellent skin, I dont use rainlendar anymore as I dont have much use for it but that skin blends in with excellently with my wallpapers...

can you explain?

well, only now i realized that with 50/50 it should be pretty hard to obtain the glassy look like you had on the light version.

anyway a couple sugestions...

- make two "borders" like on the attached pic.
- make the skin in different colors like the first blue one in this [preview]

what do you think?
