Full Version: Firefox: No popup on wrong URL

Im sure i've seen this somewhere on the forum but if no way can i find it again....

Im basicalyl try to change firefox so that when i enter a url thats wrong (neowin.nwet or something) it just gives me a "does not exist page and leaves the wrong url in the address box....

Is this possible? Preety sure i've seen an instruction soemwhere but been searching for a good quater of hour with no luck and would be nice:)

change in about:config

browser.xul.error_pages.enabled
to true. in 1.5 this will be default and the page has changed to a nice pretty css page with a retry button.

Dammit, can't wait for the final of 1.5. When is it suposed to be coming out?

If on Firefox 1.0.6 and below (cause they work perfectly in Deer Park builds) this also comes in handy when turning on error pages.
