saxondale.
Im going to need some headphones, and im willing to spend about £50 ($80) on them. It will mainly be used for my iMac for music mixing/mastering, so im going need something which is pretty decent quality. Also it will be used on my iRiver some of the time, so something a bit portable. I want them to go over my ears, not the ones which actually go in.

Cheers

I recently got the Apple In-ear ones and am disappointed with them, they don't even stay in my ears, especially when im running.
I was going to buy these sound proofing ones which looked top notch but my girlfriend bought me these as a pressie so sad.gif.

I'll have a look for the good earphones webby.

*edit* Here we go, the line ranges from £70 to £500 though.
I would love to try the high end ones out..

Sennhieser HD212Pro or any of their other products that fit your budget.
IMO, the only thing better than Sennheiser is Bose, but Bose lose out in the bang/buck category.

Sennheiser HD280 are the best sub-$100 cans, have a pair and use them constantly along with my Koss Pro 4/AAs. If you really need of a lightweight set of headphones, look into either the Grado SR-60 or Sennheiser PX 100.

Lol I'll really have to disagree with you on that.
IMHO both Triport and QuietComfort is pretty decent. But AWFUL for their price. If they were around $70 it would've been good.

Try Senns, Beyers, Grados, and if you can find Audio-Technicas, and if you even go to canalphones, definitely try out Shures, Etymotics, and Ultimate Ears.
