You need to chill out. That was more than over-the-top. Take a chill pill man. If it bugs you soo much then simply don't use it until it gets fixed. Being demanding like that doesn't help or make it get fixed any faster. If I was the one who created the themes I'd leave that bug just to get on your nerves for how you acted.

Hej WindowsX,
I'm following since quite a while the VS you are doing and so far they weren't done to the end (my personal opinion) So they were looking good but not styled allthrough. This time I must say your version 3.0 has been done really good and I can use it through out all my programs without any annoying bad colour matches ...
My really respect for this complete vista transformation!!!
Thx and keep on improving it ...

ContentMargins 0,-100,0,0 And it depend on your XP language ex: the text between logoff button and shutdown button in
English XP it's : Log Off
French XP it's : Fermer la session
that's why on screen you saw the buttons close.

Love the theme but I miss the XP-style vertical bar/shell with the "File/Folder Tasks, Other Places, and Details" options. Is there a way to show them? I can only view the Horizontal "File/Folder Taks" in the menus...
Look around for a shellstyle you like and exchange them. I believe there are three styles in this pack. Try each one to see if one has the vertical task pane. You can mix and match msstyles to shellstyles untill you find a combo you like.

You can use minus value in contentmargins to move stuffs around. That's the way I did for user picture too.
Anyway, I must say Visual styles and WindowBlinds skin is really in rush so it sure will have some bugs and I'll fix it in the VS Pack release.

Windows X shows yet again why he's, in my opinion, in the top 3 VS skinners to have ever been...and frankly, the tops for putting in all the extras.
Wicked job. I think I may uninstall the Vista bricopack later today and try the new 3.0 transformer...or maybe that should wait for tomorrow.

absoultely fantastic man
the only vista theme that actually made me go
thanks a lot for this
I love these themes, but I'm having a problem with the icons on the start menu:
[attachmentid=148815]
Notice how you can see part of the icons beside "Documents" etc? And that the "Turn off computer" button overlaps? Can I fix this?
Keep up the great work.
I read the topic from the start and found out it was due to having large icons. I've sorted it now. But I wonder if I can make the start menu "orb" big by default (as opposed to it being small and getting bigger when clicked).

i think this might be impossible. but windowsX can you make a different mssyles file for people who use 48px size icons? and one for the standard 32px?
your skins are great! but that bug is anoying >< and i am not sure what part of the theme to edit. if you could add a tutorial for it that would be cool too.

Yeah I wouldn't mind making the necessary changes myself if someone showed me how. I love large icons tho, so I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place because I love this theme as well, lol. I'd be willing to make a donation if Windows X would oblige me.

Just installed your theme and I like it. Just a couple of problems I ran into.
1. The separator bars on the main toolbar for things like Explorer, IE, OE, and similar MS programs do not show up. The space is there for them its just that the bar does not display. To be fair I've had this happen with other themes. Any thoughts on this? Not a big deal but I am curious.
2. The default font of 9 is to small for me. I changed it to 10. However this screws up the Start Menu where the 'Log Off' and 'Turn Off Computer' stuff is located. I am using Vista Beta 2 style (Segoe UI). The other styles also do this. Change the Icon fontsize to 10 and see for yourself.

Jan 16 2006, 23:25
OK. I was using version 2. I just installed version 3.
When I increase the fontsize to 10 the 'Turn Off' that you get when hovering over the Off button gets truncated to 'Of'.
Also the separator bars are still not visible. But as I said I get this with some other themes too. I really would like to know why.

Missing the ' smoothness' in these Vista themes: The colors do not comine to well and the icons are just a bit to big for my liking. Maybe combine the new graphics with the basic of KoL's Vista theme .
Oeps....sorry, those are banned by MS. But hey, who will tell?
Where can I get version 3? I'm not seeing it in the first post.

Ok, I have 3.0 and it looks like its for StylesXP and not WindowBlinds. Is there a WindowBlinds version? Is it coming in Version 4? Any timetable?
Thx...
There is a WB version. When you install the pack, it installs the WB theme automatically.
You can also use the ordinary themes with a patched uxtheme.dll.
