I wish we all got 100 invites for Windows Live Messenger cuz then I can send everyone an invite but Microsoft, unlike Google, being the cheap tools that they are decided to give only two invites and most ppl

People prefer to send invites to older members who have been here a while youve only been here since yesterday and have 4 posts, so its only fair that someone with 2000 posts thats been here for a year or 2 gets one first. I seem to have found out the harder way

No not neccisarily, but it does appear as if you came here just to get an invite. Oftentimes in a case like this, someone would get it, and than dissapear to never post again or contribute to our great community. Is kinda with the "take care of our own first" thing. Most people will be more willing to give one to a known established member of Neowin, than one that just showed up with unknown motives.

Sorry if it hurts your feelings, but such is life.

how do you get invitation from mail live?
i have been using mail live for few weeks but i don't see microsoft giving me any invitations to send out..

Yes, i understand, but are you always going on french boards ? on infos-du-net, i've about 1 700 posts. But here, i've only 4. Why ? 'cause i'm french and not very good in english.

I dont understand something. My friend has gotten an invite a couple days ago and he doesn't yet have invitations. Don't people automatically get 2 invitations when they enter the beta?
