We know Sammy. Sammy is an established member who contributes to Neowin regularly. Xiawhatever... who is that? He has one post, and it is here saying I wanna use WML too, send me one. Giving Sammy one is going to be helping out one of our own and he will be truly greatfull. Xia? Probably not. I give him about a 98% of never posting again, thus a wasted invite that could have gone to one of our own.

When I start getting invites, I am going to go through this thread looking for people to give invites to. I will seriously skip every one that I see who has less posts than I can count on one hand and a registration date of 10 minutes ago. It isn't fair to our members who contribute to the forum to be overlooked to have one that could go to them instead go to one of you who will get the invite and never be heard from again. Although, the fact that you have a lager slew of posts may not help either. I was looking at one guy a few pages back who had about 30 posts and an old registration date, and I thought, "aww, now here is a good member who needs one - untill I saw his post record. every single one of his recent posts was in here, and all the old ones were from a gmail invite thread. Classic... show up, ask, leave until something else comes out that is invite only again. Nope don't think so.

Now, RGadelha above me has only a handfull of posts, BUT the posts that he does have show that he has a genuine interest in neowin, thus not just here for an invite, so dont think that it is all about post count. I would gladly give him one when I have some to give in a few days.
