For all those people who are having problems with the download button in your invites, this is a known problem and the workaround has been posted several times. This isn't the only WLM 8 thread ya know.
Here, I'll even be nice and point to page 3 of (oh my) another WLM 8 thread

.
Official Windows Messenger Live BETA ThreadRead the info about viewing the source of the email and an example of what the invite link looks like.

Can i say something? I am a beta tester for both MSN Mail and Windows Live Messenger. It seems to me that everyone is forgetting that isnt even in beta yet and it has many bugs. People seem to want an invite because u will be cool if u have the new msn, but if u are not honestly going to help us find the bugs, then why even bother using this? Its just wasting everyones time because we need people to find the bugs and make this product better then ever before, not just for u to be popular.
Is there any invitation left

for dljdavid@hotmail.com ?
I will really apreciate one

I am against the whole invite system of Microsoft. They should have sent invites to only technically sound people who can do some real testing and provide feedback for the betterment of the final product.
With this invite system people are just begging for invites who do not even have basic knowledge about computers. How does one expect them to prvoide feedback for the betterment of the product?
If someone from Microsoft is reading this, pl. pl. stop all this invite funda and send invites only after background check to see if the person is worthy of providing feedback or not...
