I am against the whole invite system of Microsoft. They should have sent invites to only technically sound people who can do some real testing and provide feedback for the betterment of the final product.
With this invite system people are just begging for invites who do not even have basic knowledge about computers. How does one expect them to prvoide feedback for the betterment of the product?
If someone from Microsoft is reading this, pl. pl. stop all this invite funda and send invites only after background check to see if the person is worthy of providing feedback or not...

one thing that people need to do is realize that if you sign up for the Live Mail beta you need to have a Hotmail account.... or else you will not be able to get on it.....
so one thing that you need to do is stop asking for mail invites with a ISP or gmail or whatever mail...except hotmail... just thought I would help you all out....
as well perhaps reading previous posts might help out you leechs... as most people just join for the Invites... this is a site I visit daily and never came to the forums before.... well I agree as well with invites only going to tech savy people.... what a joke that MS is watching the invites on ebay, they stated in the MSN beta blog that they have bets as to how high the prices will go..... sad perhaps they could concentrate on making a great product instead of creating buzz and hype... look at what it has done for the xbox 360... certain parts of the world people are not even buying it.... but hear in NA we love the media hype and waste our money on something that will be the next sega dreamcast... that imo

This is a repost of my offer from yesterday which no one took advantage of, so I'll offer it again today:
I have two Windows Live Messenger 8 invites left and will give them to the first two people who can provide a copy of an "e-receipt" that shows that you have donated ANY amount of money to the Humane Society. I live in Winnipeg, Canada and would appreciate donations to my local humane society

If you weren't invited by Microsoft directly (ie: 1st gen invitee), you won't get any invites to share. Nor will you be allowed access to the newsgroups or the connect feedback forms. If you were picked by MS, then maybe it has something to do with your locale.
Besides, due to this being the request thread and it's overwhelming reply count it would probably me more useful to post actual questions here....
