how long do you have to wait until you get invites after your WLM account has been activated? Just wanting to give back to the community and what not

You should have an email from MS within 24 hrs, or sooner, then just go back to Live ideas and your invitations will be there.

is there some trick to expedite the invites proliferation? like actively using the messenger, have to be a hotmail or non-hotmail user, having a lot of contacts, paying for extra service... ? thanks for any tips.

There are no tricks for it. It is just random. Just keep checking daily under Help and Beta invitations in Windows Live Messenger to see if you have any invites to give out. Either that or one day a yellow info bar will appear on your contact list saying you have invites to give out.

I'm not here to request an invite But was wondering if anyones been able to get to the *Send Feedback* feature? And Has anyone been able to receive mp3 files through Messengers File Transfer as I cannot. I *can* receive .jpg's, .rar's, etc. When downloading the mp3, it seems normal and when finished it says "You have successfully received" but when I click on the location, get a Windows Security message stating it has been blocked as it was found to be potentially dangerous. However, when I click on *OPEN* from Messenger, Winamp will play the file only once and when I try to *jump to File* or *Enqueue file* from Winamp, it obviously doesn't have a clue where it is.

I have made sure..... my File Transfer Settings were correct... turned off Windows Firewall..... disabled Security Center in Services..... shut down WinPatrol...and even had the same mp3 file sent by email. I believe this is a bug and would like to know if anyone else has experienced this issue?
