I've been sent an invite to WLM8 and am already in. If I can just forward the invite to someone, I'll do that if I can get a Windows Live Mail invite. I'll have invites of my own soon too, hopefully. They sent and email to me saying that I'll be getting them soon.

well i dont send invites to people who have signed up like 2-3 days ago once i post this, as i really want to give my invites to dedicate dmembers and not those who sign up for an invite and sod off
tezzy123
Dec 21 2005, 23:21
i totally agree with sam needs. why come here bragging about how many invites you have if your NOT willing to send them to the people who has requested them. theres no point doing it really if no one is gonna give another person an invite weather or not they have just signed up for an invite.

thats low from someone who just signed up to get an invite, i would rather my invite go to someone who has been here longer than people who sign up to get just an invite

And what about memebers like me?
I got and account but don't really post, i use it to read and search the forums.
Should they be treated as new hit and run users aswel?
From one point of view i can see the answer being yes,
since users like me don't give mutch input into the community.
Then again no, since they do stick around but just don't post a lot.

For all those people begging for an invite: just go to sleep and wait for the public beta. Why?
- Its more stable
- It probably has more features
And best;
- Everyone is able to download it.

I agree with you on this, but l also agree with Jorge...
However, if you just joined today becuase you heard from a friend that Neowin as "Free Invites" it kinda ruins it for others.

TOTALLY AGREE!! While the new Live Messenger is good, it still has a ways to go. Currently it looks "rushed" and needs to be polished and cleaned up a little.
