I was searching around on this forum and the internet and I couldn't find anything on modifying Windows XP (or even Vista) so that you can have multiple desktops similar to Linux. I find this to be one of the best features about Linux flavors and I was hoping someone here might know if it is possible on Windows. If so, how does it do for performance?

search for it on google....
its a great program that has all the same features as linux...

A free, fast, and feature-full virtual desktop manager for Windows platform. The main goal of this open-source project is indeed to enhance the Microsoft "Window Manager" up to the level of usual Unix Window Manager, by providing virtual desktops, as well as some additional features, like always on top, window shading...

This looks perfect! Alt Desk looks great but I'm cheap and don't want to pay for it. But I like the sourceforge version and I'll try it out tonight.

I saw a picture of Deskman Powertoy and I dont care for it. I like being able to see what is in the other workspaces.

Thanks for the links. If there are any others or modifications that can be made, let me know.
