I live less then 300 METERS FROM train tracks. Yes, that's right, I can walk to the tracks in under 20 seconds. Do I always feel trains go by? NO ... I can stand 10 feet from some trains, and I don't feel them. Am I 'feeling impaired' ... no. But when you are on a road, that has a LOT of taffic, and you get used to it, and you walk near trains daily, you get used to the feeling. It'd be like riding a bike ... at first, it hurts, but after a few hours riding, it dosn't hurt as much ...

So maybe this beautiful woman who, from what I can tell from research I did, had a heart of gold, and loved mostly everyone she met, couldn't feel the train. I know I"ve stood 5 or 6 feet (or closer) to the track as one flew by, and I didn't feel nothing.

I work next to a train line. I feel coal trains, I don't feel commuters.

That is pretty tragic. I've always thought the best (or worst) example of irony was Christopher Reeve and his wife. He played Superman and became a quadriplegic, and she died recently of lung cancer and never smoked.

I dont think that this is ironic, but then again I wont get into a discussion.

It would definitely be ironic if the woman saved another person who wasnt deaf, when the train signaled its horn...

blabla its 1:46 am off to sleep i go.

Ironic I think not.

But I do think theirs a Darwin Award here somewhere.
