He guys and gals,

took me about 1,5 a month to port the kde style kermamik to windows xp. (I hadn't much time, and much school)

Well here it is,

a big thanks goes out to malte from kde.org who is the original developer of this great style.

It comes with 2 startmenu, the default looks most like the orginal kde menu.

well enjoy this style, and please report bugs.

u just mite wanna change the default pane size of the StartUserPanel.bmp (the one with user pic on) so its 0 in height! i use my taskbar at the top and so i have a big gap cos that bitmap is invisible but still 64px in height!

would u mind?? i could do it but its ur theme its just change it from:



0, 0, 380, 64

to

0, 0, 380, 0

i've corrected the bug and uploaded the new version 1.6 to getskinned, so in a few hours the original url get changed.

Very nice indeed, goes great with the KDE Crystal icons. Not a big Linux fan (more of a BSD person myself), but I've always liked this one. Keep up the good work!

Nice theme, one question, whats the diff in apperances color? you have blue and 2ndblue in the tab, i can't notice any diff, is there one?

Especially after the top toolbar fix...was running it prior to this update and had that 'gap' in the start menu but it's all better now

I like blue a bit better, but the top part seems 'cut off' maybe add space for the profile picture?

i wanted to make it really kde like and that's without a userpic/name, but i could add some small bar so you can see your username.

Hey man amazing vs it's incredible. How about a few different colours? Red, green,black,grey,orange,brown?? Great job anyway man keep up the kick ass work!

I really like this theme but the the white buble on the top of the windows that holds the text is HUGE and the text it not centered on it.

Maybe this is just how it is in KDE as well. But if it were up to me I would change it.

For a shell32.dll just use the KDE Crystal one that is going around the board. I love this theme....looks great man. Now I need matching skins and everything.



Also, could you make another variation of theme with a flat titlebar? As in no other shapes like it has now? That would so sweet...I'd like it even more then . If not that's alright.

I've noticed a few bugs...mostly in the title bar. When the window is too small, it has a black line across it. Also, the inactive titlebar has a black piece around the right side of the beveled part.

Yeah i know about that bug. It's unfortenately a msstyles transparancy bug, really the msstyles engine has lot's off these transparancy bugs.

The only way to fix it, is to put the blue bubble inside the captionbar, it's now a bit bigger then the rest of the captionbar.

Maybe i'll make a version were you can choose, just like real KDE.

Ladies and gentlemen, here's keramik 2.0

I've added much things,
changed buttons, they look brighter now. Helpbutton is also fixed.



Old programbar is replaced by new glassy looking one.
Added mouseovers, to make the style more alive. (You were right about this Aquajack)
Added username support.
The problem with the small blacklines around the captionbar are for 90% fixed now.

Added Emerald colorscheme.
Added Shellstyle.dll made by Oldecrow. Big thanks goes out to him.
And much more little bugs are corrected/changed.

It will be online in a few days.

this is the best visualstyle I've used so far. maybe it's because I love KDE so much, or maybe it's because of the wonderful job done on this theme.
