Mr Winkle
Hello there,

I'm wondering if you can help me - i'm looking for an extension to display the total amount of bytes used in a webpage, including all images. The page info item only displays the size of the html file, not the total amount used.

if it's not possible to find anything which displays the figure in the status bar, just an extension which shows a popup would be good.

Thank you very much in advance

M

Dont know how accurate Extended Statusbar is https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1433/ but you can check it with View Dependencies https://addons.mozilla.org/addon.php?id=2214 Last one add a tab in page info window plus a right click entry.

Thank you very much for that Tarzan - i hadn't thought about looking for status bar extensions. The Extended Statusbar is a really good concept, but sadly, the page sizes appear to be quite random. The image alone on my home page is 10kb, but the Extended Statusbar reports the amount downloaded as 7kb. The bigger the pages, the stranger the results. did like the View Dependencies - excellent little extension that! any other ideas?
