Full Version: Remove 'Bookmarks Toolbar' Folder?

Hey, Im getting sick of the bookmarks toolbar folder as i dont use it so i was wondering is there anyway to remove it?

View - toolbars - bookmark toolbar.

I mean the one in the bookmarks drop down menu sorry unsure.gif unsure.gif

What I would do is go to Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks > File > Export > save bookmarks.html file.

Then in Notepad, open up the bookmarks.html, and edit the HTML file to not include the Personal Toolbar and the sites in it. Then save it as somthing like "bookmarks2.html" so if you mess up, youl'll have your original bookmarks file.

Then in the Bookmarks Manager > File > Import > From File > open bookmarks2.html or whatever you named the file.

Hope this helps.
