Well my friend (you'll never guess who) wanted to make a vs so I offered to post screenshots for it here and get feedback. It's called Clockwork Orange.

Personally I'm not that big a fan off the whole bevell/embossed buttons and stuff but I do like the colors (including the gray in the background)

Not too crazy about the screenshot, imho with a colour such as orange it's very easy to go over the top, and the mockup as a whole just has a little too much relief for my liking. Especially the All Programs button has a certain vStyler vibe to it... I'll let you decide if that is a good or a bad thing though.

what does this have to do with A Clockwork Orange. lol i like it and all but i was expecting it to look like something from the movie.

I asked my friend the origin and his response was there's no "A" in the theme name.

my favourite colour is orange so dont get me wrong, but this is just wrong. one thing that has caught my eye though is that windows clock in the start menu. does that function as a clock? if so thats pretty cool.

also i hated the movie clockwork orange. everyone who likes seeing/practicing rape raise their hands to be shot

The clock is not functional but just relates to the theme name.

I don't like bubbly, round, glossy styles. Flat and thin I like.

I think this thing is really good, perhaps a thin task bar version would be a nice touch as well as a compact strat menu for a substyle. Just try not to make it real bulky thats my two cents

OK, this is one of the first times I am doing this, so go easy on me:

As an old user of the really old theme "Slick Orange" it cannot be said enough that I like orange in my themes. That being said, I don't think there is enough unification to the feel of this theme. For instance, the start panel looks great with the combo of the orange colors and the white (the offset in color just looks simple and clear though for the "All Programs" button I might suggest using the grey text color instead of the orange) but the taskbar doesn't look like it belongs to the start panel in terms of the color scheme. The grey/black/orange here looks muddled compared to the start panel and that throws off the feel of the whole theme.
If I might make a suggestion here; I would take the lighter color orange from the top of the start panel and carry that into the taskbar where the buttons would have the inset/beveled white and the border the darker orange.

LOL@clockwork being the reason you've got a clock in the start menu, if you know anything about clockwork orange the movie book it has little to do with a clock.

Otherwise though as someone else said I'm a bit let down that it has nothing to do with the movie the movie was real classy yet erratic and bizzare all at the same time.

If it isn't vStyler then it's a really good copycat... I thought I recognized his style from the first screenie but now with the taskbar buttons I'm almost certain it is him. Very VXP-like...
