No fair, we (Australians) gotta wait till next week to get Carbon oh well could be worse alright so let's see some cars!

After that horrible demo I'm wondering how much use this topic will get.

Considering how well the NFS games sell for EA...I'd guess alot.

What is this? A car showcase thread without any cars to showcase ? Since no one else has the game, why start the thread in the first place? In any case, since I'm the only one here to have the game, I start it off with showing my cars.

My first car, the Exotic Class 1 Alfa Romeo, painted black and with a few performance enhancements but nothing else.

My second car, which I've won off Wolf when I beat him in Canyon racing. I'm a bit peeved that I couldn't change the vinyls of this car as it's seem to be locked, unlike Most Wanted.

I'm already 50% into the Career mode and my crew consist of Neville, Chris from TFK and Yumi from Bushido. I've already beaten Wolf and Kenji and going to go against Angie of 21st Street.

. I don't know if it's worth it for you to play it or not. It is all a matter of opinion. I like playing it so obviously I would say play it but you might not like it. However, I have written some personal opinions on the game itself so you can read about it in this thread or post here.

I'll try to post some pictures of the different elements of the game later when I have the time. Should I post it here though or in the other thread?

I just got this... can someone recommend a controller?? I like mouse/keyboard but for driving and sports.. I need a controller.. my old one died.. what should I get?

The final version is as bad as the demo, uninstalled it after reaching this conclusion. Frankly I don't understand how can a company as big and successful as EA produce a game that is worse than its predecessor (NFS Most Wanted).

I like it, I think most will agree that it is best of the series.

120% agree with you. It's at least a step back in graphic quality and map details. And I don't like drift and this game is only about drift....

I hated the Demo, but was sure that the real deal would be better. Well 45$ later and I'm ****ed.

i'd recommend an xbox 360 controller, thats what i have...

how did u connect the xbox 360 controller into your pc?

i used Logitech Dual Action controller... works great...

the wired xbox 360 controllers just use a standard usb connector...so they are ready to go right out of the box. it's awesome...

neah its iridescent paint. even when selecting light color it looks very dark.


to unlock lambo you have to beat wolf in canon racing, in 3rd part of the city. so its around 50-60%.maybe less.

Yes, I had to beat Wolf to get it but what a pain it was. EA has made it that an Aston Martin, no matter how upgraded it is, cannot compete with a Lamborghini so I had a torrid time trying to beat him. In the end, I just bought a Mercedes Mclaren SLR and beat him using that. Wasted 200,000 but I had no choice there.

^ interesting. i did exactly the same I had 350z but couldnt beat lamb with that too. anyway 80% of canyon racings are won by some lucky streak when i overtake oponent and try to block him for 10 secs of course it takes 100 restarts, but still

btw i finished the game 101% all i have left is stupid card unlocking things like buying cars etc. and i have almost no money.

Tell me about it . But the 350z is a Tier 3 vehicle, correct? It should be able to compete with the Lamborghini. My Aston Martin is a Tier 2 vehicle so I had a torrid time on the canyon with it, even with a 101 restarts and counting... .

I think this might be off topic but I see you guys having different cars in career mode. I'm stuck with Mazda RX 8 and I don't know how to get a new car. Do I win one or can I buy a new car? I'm 43% complete.

its either cause i have it on 360 or these peoples computers suck but why does the game look like crap in these screenshots?

I don't know. I'm running Carbon with max details, 4xaa, forced 16xaf, and it doesn't look that far off from the 360. I also posted the main screen, so you can compare it to the 360.

wow, so many of you have completed the game already. guess the end don't get uber difficult like the other games.
