Crazy, some of you guys already finished the game..yet here in Au we are still twiddling our thumbs waiting for it to released next week

..still EA brought Carbon to Game1 this weekend, but it sucked that all the demo units were PS2s

(running on HDTVs, bad combination!) still the the booth babes made up for some of it

I think this might be off topic but I see you guys having different cars in career mode. I'm stuck with Mazda RX 8 and I don't know how to get a new car. Do I win one or can I buy a new car? I'm 43% complete.

I think EA really screwed it up as far as awarding new cars. It seems those who choose the different car classes will only be awarded the cars from that particular class. I'm already 97% finished and I haven't got Nissan Skyline in my shop

Some of the taste in these cars makes me want to puke. That green Skyline with the body kit looks like a junk 80s Acura legend with a crapy unfinished body kit on it.

And whats that... 100 spokes on an Jag?

Just unlocked the camouflage vinyls, they look great on my skyline.

the car maxed out at 190 on auto gears, but goes to 210+ on manual

That's a bug in the game. You have to retry a couple of times (try clicking the buttons in the GUI instead of using the keyboard). I managed to get that vinyl off:

After renaming the movies folder it doesnt crash to desktop as much as it did. I just bought a 1900GT just to play this game.

Just a few people having issues.

keep 'em coming! I just found out my normal source for release dates is wrong

seems we (Au) are not getting Carbon this Thursday...seems the official release date is 16 Nov

why do we we always get screwed over like this? the same thing that happened with Most Wanted is gonna happen with Carbon

(e.g. by the time we (Au) got Most Wanted all the other people (NA/EU) had already clocked the game and got the fastest cars so when I went online for a game, I'd be in the Cobalt SS (best I could get at the time) and the other racers were in M3 GTRs and Carrera GTs which is why I never play NFS online cause what is the point? I'll get thrashed by all those NA/EU players with thier top cars..way to go EA

EDIT: My bad, I was half right..seems the Xbox 1 version is due Nov 9 and Xbox 360 (and other versions) is Nov 16..why such a gap between releases? and why the Xbox 1 version coming out first??

Hmm.. those hood vents on the Renault Clio are odd, especially considering the Clio has a mid-mounted engine (engine is in the back)

Did EA lower the car detail in this game? From the screenshots it seems so. The interior work looks cool though.
