Hi there, has anyone noticed pixelated playback in VLC player on Vista? The image seems a little "jagged", is there any fix for this?

vlc dont work very well on vista i recommend you to get KMplayer or GOMplayer both work perfect for windows vista

Same, thought it might change in w7, but its the same.

Think it's a driver issue

GOMPlayer works oddly enough, must use some non windows/driver smoothening stuff.

Got the same problem.. Going to mess with the settings now.

I got pixelated of jagged playback with Media Player Classic in Vista but it was Xvid lates version Xvid 1.2.1 04-12-2008 that was causing this.

I reverted to the earlier Xvid 1.1.3 27-04-2008 version and all the avi's are playing fine.

Also, i use VLC to playback from time to time but i haven't had any problems in Vista so far...

I think it may be a renderer problem. I changed from default to haali and the problem is solved.
