Full Version: Tweaking Vista window shadows...

Okay, so Windows Vista has a beautiful theme. But the window borders are killing me. They are thick as hell, and the shadows are heavy as hell. I much preferred KoL's implementation in VistaXP v3, or even softer than that!

Now, I found a way to slim down the window border thickness. Instructions here for those who want them.

Now is there any way I can adjust these God-awful window shadows??

I think the shadow are inside the aero.msstyle. You will need edit the image on the STREAM folder inside the msstyle. That one contains all the glass window images.

hehe you still have the VistaXP preview. tongue.gif I'm thinking about update it a little and use the theme on XP. Not sure if its ok for me to release it again.
