I am in the need of a new camcorder. My sister is getting married pretty soon and she asked if I would record most of her wedding.

Anyway, I noticed they have hd-camcorders out now which would be neat to get. Problem is I know nothing spec wise when it comes to cameras in general. I understand the resolution shit and what not, but everything else cmos sensors lenses all that crap just confuses me.

Heres what I'm looking for..
- HD capable camcorder 720p or 1080i
- HDMI output, so I can do playback on a tv
- Firewire/USB what camera doesnt have that these days but need that for the iMovie (NEWWWWBIE) / whatever editing.
- No DVD camcorders, I do not want one of those that record to those mini dvds, I have slot loading machines so I can't even use those.
- Decent sized one, nothing big and bulky.

Price really isn't an issue along as its around 1000~ not much more.

Anyway if you ladies could help out I'd appreciate it. I'm sure theres one or two of you guys here that know something.
