hi
i need a digital camera for taking pictures in a nightclub as you'll understand there's not alot of light about and i need one that's gonna take the best possible pictures in this enviroment. so i don't want to have to cary about a dslr and my last camera died because of the zoom lens so any recomendations preferably one without a zoom lens and as compact as possible

yeah how come the finepix look's alright is this my best option then was kinda wanting one without a zoom lens

How about the Fujifilm FinePix Z3 then? It's about the size of a credit card and 20 mm thick.

Well, for shooting under low light conditions without using a flash you need a camera that will let you set ISO to a high value without destroying the photo with noise. The Fujifilm Super CCD sensors are great at keeping noise at a reasonable level, even at ISO 1600.
