Sources around Dale Earnhardt, Jr. say that he will leave DEI after the end of this season. If this is true, then he won't be driving in the number 8 car next season.

He has been in talks with RCR most of the day yesterday. Supposed to be a press conference sometime today.

If he joins RCR, then he will have the option to drive the number 3 car.

With as much drama as DEI has produced for Dale, I would change teams too. It would be nice he joins RCR.
