If you love Pinball then you will love this app. Monster Fair is one of the best Pinball games I've seen.

Cost: 2980 Yen (Whatever that may be in your own currency).

yeah, i saw that on the list. but any other? there is only one app for archiving?

and what about file managers? Total (aka Windows) Commander-like file managers for Mac. And what about archivers which integrate to that file managers to use as easily as using TC + WinRAR on Windows (for example Alt+F9 for uncompressing).

Same dilemma as you, found this and kinda happy smile.gif

RarMe allows you to create and extract rar files on OS X (it uses the official command line tool from RarLabs, which is shareware). As for a file manager, you can check out XFolders.

Good Vibrations CSS

Basically Good Vibrations CSS is a Safari (Webkit) optimised CSS file which blocks advertisements, frame adverts, Flash adverts etc.

I started to notice that as well. It is updated monthly though, hopefully in a few months a more reliable build will be released.

Yeah who knows, I'll make sure to keep my eye on it once in a while.

I believe VLC will let you do that. Otherwise, you could use Mac The Ripper and remove the region encoding from the Disc.
fukachu
VLC unfortunately doesn't seem to work on intel macs at least for that purpose. i have the latest build and on my macbook purchased in hong kong is not capable of playing australian dvds as the region setting is still set to hong kong's region. i saw this discussed in a number of places.. it seems to be a no go for many people with macbook pros as well. your second recommendation might be the only way to go.

Crosswire has finally seen a 1.0 release. I really like this app, it combines the lightweight Cabos with the elegance of Acquisition.

BTW... What is the application that can hide Dock icons? I'm using Namely and want to hide the Dock icon...
osirisX
Dock Dodger.
QuarterSwede
Don't forget Saft, Safari Stand or PithHelmet!
QuarterSwede
A few more:

Chicken of the VNC (until Leopard comes out which includes VNC support)
Paintbrush (MSPaint/MacPaint alternative)
Stellarium (Fantastic Astronomy app)
Pacifist (extract individual files & folders from pkg, dmg, tar, tgz, tar.gz)
b0se
Kickass list - thanks.

Yes. The DockDoctor comes in handy for that.

No they work with other programs as well. There is a free alternative to CandyBar for icons that I know support it.

I'm trying to modify the appearance of the Dock, not the icons. When I open an iContainer file with LiteIcon, it tells me 'no icons are recognized by LiteIcon'.

This is the dock.

Anyone?

I might just buy CandyBar, it's only £14. Is it worth it?

Yeah, I would say its worth it since the new CB integrates all the functions of Pixadex as well and its a great looking app too.
forster
Not sure whether it has already been mentioned, but I just found Xslimmer, and it works great.

Their main site has it hosted again.

I'd recommend VirtualBox for free alternative to Parallels or VMWare and it can be seemlessly ran. It crashes at times, but overall a good alternative that's free.
azcodemonkey
For developers that want a visual diff/merge tool, SourceGear is offering DiffMerge for OS X for free.

What about batch resizer? Batch rename isn't totally necessary, more emphasis on the resize part. BUT, it must also do individual resizes as well, preferably with a preview too. iZoom seemed good, if only it would work..
Ashiaveli
+1 for Automator to resize pictures..Automator is really powerful.
StandingInAlley
Which will be a good Winamp like application in Mac for listening to music. I don't really like iTunes tbh hmm.gif

Btw the list is really helpful, i downloaded lots of applications.

Thx a lot guys
