did you install a newer version of the tango patcher over the old one without uninstalling first?

What ViperAFK said is most likely the issue.

just thinking for the sake of the developer and the progress, i fully understand that he can't fully focus on the project, so couldn't this project be made more openly available, and let others work on it?

I'd planned on releasing full source code as an option in the installer (2600 does, now) whenever I released the next big revision... but that hasn't really happened yet. Sourceforge won't accept it as a project, they don't accept Creative Commons licensed projects, and a large enough potion of STTP is CC-by-SA to make that a significant problem... a true central SVN repository for multiple people to access would be nice.
Dunno, maybe after I've got enough done for the Python-Powered Patcher (I do still spend a little time piddling at it, I'm planning on attacking it with full steam over my Christmas break), I'll try to make a project on it again. Since iconsets and OS definitions are used as pluggable modules, I wouldn't have to do any/much eulabending, and they might accept that as a project.

Is there any solution to my problem? Maybe someone can provide me their hack o matic file? Or should download it again, install and then uninstall?

As we said, if you have applied another icon set, it replaces the original vista icons backup files.

Would it be possible to use this app as a delivery method for other custom icon sets?
For example, compile a bunch of icons in a folder/file hierarchy that perfectly matches the one used by Tango patcher, then run tango patcher to have it install those icons?
It would be cool if it could. That would make icon themes in Windows as easy to use/create as icon themes in Linux (gnome in specific).

I'm running Vista 64 Ultimate SP1 here and the version you provided works just fine. Thank you very much.
I have a question though: is there a way to select which icon set to install? I'm not a fan of the grey colored folders. Thank you.

Why does Tiize detect that there is a newer version?

My backed up files don't consist of vista's original icons, but tango. So can someone provide me their Back Up folder to restore my icons to vista's defaults?
I know this maybe a repeated question but i want to know if i got this right , for X64 users fist i install the TiizeBuild-SVNr54.exe then install the tango file to work ?
it`s my 1st time on a x64 OS
Is anyone working on making skins for Applications? There are some now, but If you want total Tango satisfaction you need skins/themes/icons for other applications.
Is anyone working? Let's share the stuff. I already did few.

I have a few on my deviantART as well. Maybe people could start requesting what apps they would like to see skinned?

I need Virtual PC 2007 SP1..it is lot of technical work ... icons needed are 16x16 and already available....I get overworked lastmonths with doing stuff (Tango Jambo was hell of a work) and I need a rest or I will develop negative attitude for this Tangomania.
I use VirtualPC to run all non portable apps there ....programs that are hard to skin and I do not use them daily. Also virtual box app is a good idea. I will release in public my foxit reader and mime icons in return
/watch my deviant for tango stuff

Most likely not. Give it a shot if it's important to you?
