I see a lot of screenshots here, with some great samurize scripts, but nobody ever posts the
actual scripts....as a non-coder myself, I'd love to have a few.

So why not have a thread where ppl post their scripts as well as screenshots of it?
Im sure lots of ppl (myself included) would be very grateful.

Tartan: Do you mean scripts or configs? Scripts are the "addons" (eg: weather); configs are how you customized Samurize. I assume you mean configs...

GambitADSL: You might want to try removing your email password from your config before posting it . Even though it uses 256 bit Blowfish for password encryption *, there's still a (very) small chance of someone cracking it.

Everyone else: Remove your password from your config before posting it.

I've fixed some of them so that the main indicators now work. I've attached the script (I hope).

Remember to install the font, and remember to add the writefile function to your list of graphs to make sure it updates.

Hmm weird, am using your script judge, and it works great except with the weather part it only seems to pick up the "conditions" and "as of" correctly... looking at the vbs file and weather.tmp, i can't see why the image would be displaying what looks like rain, when it should be displaying snow. Also the "temperature" and "feels like" are coming up as N/A which from my understanding of the script, should only happen if it can't find the city thats been entered. If you want to try for yourself, i have "london, england" in there.
Any ideas?

p.s. that version of your extended weather has a "Temperaure" in the script which was giving some problems.

Here's another version that has some fixes for the symbols (plus it has some functions to retrieve today's forecast data). It sounds like the HTML returned for London is slightly different than it is here in Groton, MA. I'll try and take a look.

Cheers judge, couldn't see any differences on the weather.com pages myself but it must have something to do with it.

btw, any idea if there is a way to exclude a process from the cpu usage bar, like you can do with coolmon? It's just its not very useful when you have UD or Seti or something using up all the spare cycles..

Don't those guys at weather.com have anything better to do? The HTML just changed. The attached script fixes the problems.

was using judge's weather script for past couple of days and was working fine
yet now neither his script or one on samurize.com works

I posted an update yesterday in this forum. Just read back a little. The guys at weather.com have got too much time on their hands.

Heh you got that right.. btw the script is working fine on my home pc, temps and everything now.. just here at work the temps show up as N/A, i think it must be something to do with our firewall. Weird that the image, conditions and as of seems to work though.

Has anyone tried the Little Outlook script @ samurize.com? It looks like a great tool, but when I put it into my script, it grabs the last appointments in my calender (2006). I would really like it to display the current appointments. Does anyone know where I can find some information about how to integrate Outlook and Samurize? Thanks for the help, and for the sweet scripts. Keep up the great work.

and input newark, NJ in the quotes or your zip code

does anyone know where to get a tv guide script. i would like it to use tvguide.com because all the ones that i downloaded where for like dutch and german places, i like in idaho and would like to know whats on. thanks!

Hmm, anyone have the problem of it just sititng there saying "executing script" Thats all mine says for weather and it never changes. I put my zip in the quotes =/

Edit:Bingo! It seems NAV doesn't just block malicious scripts...it blocks pretty much any script with html in it. I just opend up NAV and authorized the extendedweather.vbs and now all is well

I have that same problem with my stock script. Maybe it's just because Samurize is still in beta. I hope it gets fixed though, kind of annoying.

My Current Setup - which I thru together from a cannabalised version of hush66's - which I then changed when I saw Judge' bars - cos they are really cool - also uses the ShowMyIP script from Samurize.com

MXP in what way wont it load - do you have the IP Script from Samurize? Also bear in mind my screen res - it is being told to appear way up in the top right of a 1600 x 1200 screen

Config files - make your own or find one you like - use it as a base to build on - I did - I have only been using it < 24 hours

Tutorial - I am not sure of - I just muddled through other peoples configs and messed in the editor

Easiest way is to use the config editor (which you can run from the samurize icon in the system tray) click on the calendar and then click on the 'meters' tab. That'll show you a list of 'meters'. Select one and use the panel on the right to choose the font you want.

Doing that for every meter would be very tedious because there are a lot in the calendar so instead save it and then edit the .ini with a text editor and do a search and replace on the old font to the new font.

What setting do I need to be using for "Current Logged On Username" - any ideas anyone?

^bump thread for judge because some people post their desktops using his config and these people that do not know about samurize start asking "what program did you use?" "what is that" "what calendar is that", "what are you using" which is getting a bit annoying..
