I use Opera, It uses less RAM on my system than Firefox... But it all depends on what exactly you do, whether you like the ease of extensions, or more complex customizing, etc.

I really like to use Firefox, but it isn't really the best on the memory.

FF here. I have 2 gigs of ddr2 800 ram =] (xp system not vista). Memory never an issue.

K-Meleon Like Firefox, it uses the dependable Gecko Engine for the webpages, but since it uses native windows toolbars and GUI, it is much faster and lighter.
But why have 2 gigs of RAM in your system if you're not going to use it?

My preference is Maxthon I find that it is the perfect foil in terms of usability, speed and security!

I second this. In fact I would go for K-MeleonCCF Me 0.075 - I tried 0.08 Beta 2 and it had some issues that needed to be worked out. 0.075 is blazing fast, works perfectly, has a few nice skins and is quite customisable. It's come quite far since I was trying it out in the pre 1.x days (of K-Meleon proper). I borked something in IE installing things, so Maxthon 2 wasn't viable anymore (due to the inability to watch embedded YouTube videos, although that problem also nixed iMeem crap). CCF Me worked out fo the box for me, and seems to do everything right.

I am using Maxthon version 1 series and its perfect. I tried using OPERA today but it was using more memory compared to Maxthon when opened with 3 tabs and minimized.
I am really looking forward to try K Meleon. Everyone is talking about it. =)

Sorry to hijack this thread.
migo, what is the difference between K-MeleonCCF and K-mEleon ? Its different ?
CCF is a faster split made by Hao Jiang. I'm not sure if it's all CCF versions or just CCF ME that has gone to full tab support instead of using layers which was a bit of a duct tape solution. I prefer CCF ME to regular K-Meleon or K-Ninja. I haven't tried the non ME version of CCF.
