I'd personally go for Canon. And yes, Megapixels means nothing. A 5MP would do her just fine. It's just a few of my friends have that camera i mentioned and they all love it, so i'm just going by that.
Yeah, I know that, but they're both decent makes, both 7.2 MP and both in the £110 - £130 so I assumed they'd be decent cameras.

Samsung NV3 lol that is awesome.
Also, the Samsung NV3 looks decent as is around the £105 I was looking for. It's certainly another option.

Could get the Canon PowerShot A520 for that price but it's not very thin and only 4 MP, but then again on the other hand, it comes with a free compact photo printer. Still, I don't think the A520 is an option.
