Hello!
I'd like to try the latest Shift build, but before downloading it, I'd like to know whether it will detect my laptop's hardware correctly.
Here are the specs:

Basically, it's an AMD Turion X2 laptop with AMD M690T Chipset, which includes ATi x1250 GPU. There is also a miniPCI Broadcom wireless card in it, 1Gbit Broadcom port-sensing LAN card, and a HP Bluetooth module as well. The rest of the hardware is pretty much standard (160GB Sata drive, 2GB RAM, USB2.0, fingerprint reader, DVDRW, SoundMAX HD audio).
Ubuntu 7.04 couldn't start the GUI without me downloading ATi driver and installing it, all from command line. Also, if the laptop boots with the Wireless switch off, after turning the switch on, wireless card and bluetooth would still been missing. You would have to boot with this switch on for them to work (I am unsure whether BT works at all actually).
So, are there any experiences someone could share?
