some research on the internet can do wonders... dpreview.com is a pretty reliable and authoritative source.

it seems like an "okay" camera. i'd think about getting a canon though. the S series are compact and quite good. though i'm not sure what they're called in the UK.

I have the Casio Exilim EX-Z1000 and its a pretty awesome camera so if you wanted to go for that I would expect it to be very good.
