It's good. But I'm not a fan of the thin taskbar. The Start menu button and the min/max/close button areas are also a bit odd.

How'd you get a document in My Computer?

Very nice. It would be nice if you would add the patch that lets your maximized windows be transparent, though, and for some reason window text is black on selected windows for me (it's invisible on explorer windows.

i really like the idea... but it does look a tad rough (at least to me)

I found out (by accident) that if you place a file in
C:\Users\Noel\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Network Shortcuts
it will show up in My Computer under "Network Locations"

If you remove the grouping (by right clicking > Group By > (None)) it will look like the screenshot in the OP. This probably isn't the way the OP did it, and probably isn't the best way, but it's something I noticed.

The concept is nice, but not well implemented. Still resembles Aero.
