Hi All.

I am a bit new to the subtitles scene and I have 2 questions to ask:

1- I tried downloading an (SRT) subtitles of a movie. And placed it in the same folder as the movie itself. I tried running the movie using Windows Media Player, and I found that the Subtitles appear on the screen duplicated (As you can see in the attached image). But when I tried running it in GOM Player. The subtitles appeared perfectly.
Why? How can I fix the problem with Windows Media Player?

2- How can I burn the movie with the subtitles to a DVD?

I am using:
Windows Vista Home Premium.
ffdshow
Windows Media Player (Latest)
GOM Player (Latest)

Thanks guys.

The easiest way to burn a movie to DVD with subtitles IMO is DVDFlick.

As for the double subtitles appearing... are you sure that the original movie file didn't have the subtitles already harddcoded? I know that the GOM player uses it's own internal codec's and may not call ffdshow to display external subtitles. Hopefully someone else will be able to help you more with this tongue.gif

Edit: just realized the date you posted this... Hopefully you were able to find a solution...
