Sorry if that gets you really excited! Unfortunately I don't have access to the build, but from what I see the build number seems to be 6519! See if someone confirms!

You guys are playing it way too much man. It's fine if you don't believe until a valid source confirms. But if you are more observant then you'd remember my previous posts on Vista betas were hardly fake news.
I have seen the files, just don't have access to grab them yet.
Windows 7 is tasty.
It's nice having multiple friends at MS, one who is testing it.

read this topic...
http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?show...4&st=0&Looking at it, it seems M1 has been shipped to keypartners so bits of info could have been leaked. Wouldnt suprise me if a copy of the alpha?? would be leaked soon.

fair enough. but what if you see it yourself (as in my case), how can you say source? I think I brought this point up before (when I posted Vista beta info and no one believed me). Are you saying it's better not to post then post then? Everyone wants to know more about the next release of Windows, and share what you know helps. I'm just sharing what I see and what I know.... you can use your own discretion on its validity, but saying stupid things (not you KoDeXeRo, you have a good point here) just ruin the Neowin spirit.
If you guys think it's better not to post if it's not verifiable by a third party, I will stop posting Win 7 news then.

lmfao! this thread is so laughable...
These are just Vista / XP themes and mods, presented to look like what is so called "windows seven", simply because anyone will believe something that looks different then what they know.
Do you think ideas turned into a theme like-operating system already?
P.S. look at the first picture... is his right hand a lobster hand? IT"S LOBSTER BOY!

Apart from that, good news, sounds like they've really started to get their dev work sorted after the problems with Vista

If that is real it looks like they are building Windows 7 from early long horn builds. before they pulled everyone off longhorn to work on XP SP2.

Don't you hate it when idiots make those stupid fake videos with what they think is cool, but don't bother to at least make it appear legit (and not contain things like "MSN Messenger," which are non existent anymore).

that tipped me off in 2 ways.
it's called Windows Live Messenger now, and it doesn't contain version numbers anymore really, they are year versions 2007, 2008, etc.

It also says longhorn in the build number

Also the idea of having the side mounted taskbar/sidebar combo was dropped during the lognhorn/Vista beta I believe. I doubt they'd go back to it. at least completely
